Andromeda is the nearest major galaxy to our own Milky Way Galaxy. Our Galaxy is thought to look much like Andromeda. The diffuse light from Andromeda is caused by the hundreds of billions of stars that compose it. M31 is so distant it takes about two million years for light to reach us from there. Much about M31 remains unknown, including how the center acquired two nuclei.
are we tilted?
or are they tilted?
then again, what is up
or down
in the universe?

Although the fact that the universe isn’t infinite, I still believe that there is no up or down because direction is based off of gravity and gravity only exists in matter ( that is including even a single electron has a gravitational force pulling on everything in the universe at microscopic levels) and space itself isn’t a form of matter ie it is nothing. Also according to Mach’s principal, which I am a bit sketchy about, the only means of direction are by pure comparison of existing bodies in the universe. So direction is only relocatable to something from ourselves. We look down and see what is there, we look right and see what is to OUR right. Direction means nothing when it comes to placing bodies on a grid or map in the universe, everything is just randomized in a phenomenal and miracle way, compared only by where we are, measuring our solar system and further routing. Light moves like gas most of the time, and goes to every 360 degree direction. And like when you blow a bubble, gas wants to travel in every which way and direction (meaning 360) making a perfect sphere. So when light travels, it is going throughout the universe and what we see, is from our angle and we perceive…
note to self: Oh shut up Naya…
